Research

Dr Hsiao's main research interests are in the areas of financial econometrics, energy finance and tourism economics. Her research publications have appeared in internationally renowned academic journals, including Journal of Banking and Finance, Econometric Reviews, Quantitative Finance, Empirical Economics, Finance Research Letters, North American Journal of Economics and Finance, and Energy Policy, etc. Besides, Dr Hsiao has attacted a number of external fundings over the past 5 years, including the Macau SAR Government Higher Education Fund (2020-2021 and 2021-2023), and the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Macao Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT-NSFC) (2019-2021).
