The Centre for Gaming and Tourism Studies recently organized a student research sharing session for the postgraduate students in the Master of Business Administration in Gaming Management. The sharing session was held at the MPI Taipa campus on 3 November 2020 and attended by more than 60 participants, including students at the bachelor's and master's levels, as well as the academic and research staff of MPI.
This sharing session presented three outstanding research studies conducted by a group of postgraduate students in Gaming Management. Three gaming-related topics were discussed in the areas of anti-money laundering controls, workplace health and safety management system, and electronic sport and its prospect/impact on the hospitality industry. The Centre aims to promote mutual learning and exchange among students through student-led academic conferences. With a positive atmosphere for academic research, students are encouraged to engage in the gaming-related management theories and applications. The sharing session was well received with active discussion from the participants.
